Hiking Udzungwa Mountain, a part of the Usambara mountain chain. Accessibility to the park is through a 380km road journey from Dar es Salaam. The drop-off point is Mang’ula, and it’s approximately 1km to the park entrance. The trek to the highest mountain peak, Mwanihana Peak (2500 meters), covers a distance of 38 km over three days. During this three-day hike, you’ll sleep in campsites. As you hike, you will immerse yourself in lush green nature, the soothing sounds of waterfalls, encounters with wildlife (including endemic bird species and primates), and various plant life.
