Your journey begins with a 05:40 AM flight from Dar Es Salaam Airport (Terminal 2) to Kigoma, arriving at 07:40 AM. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel for breakfast and a brief rest.

At 9:00 AM, you’ll transfer by boat (approximately 1 hour) across Lake Tanganyika to Gombe National Park. Upon arrival, check in and relax at your lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy lunch followed by leisure time swimming at the beach, relax, or simply unwind. At 3:00 PM, depart for a 30-minute guided hike to a nearby waterfall, spotting primates along the way. Enjoy a refreshing swim at the base of the falls

Optional: If you return early, enjoy kayaking and witness a stunning sunset over the lake.

At 7:00 PM, dinner will be served, followed by evening relaxation.

Main Destination: Gombe National Park (Chimpanzees)

After breakfast, meet your professional guide and set out for an exciting day of chimpanzee trekking in Gombe Stream National Park. The trekking duration depends on the chimpanzees’ movements as they explore the forest in search of food.

Your guide will enrich your journey with information about the forest’s ecosystem, including birdlife, flora, and other primates. Once the chimps are located, enjoy observing their behavior playing, grooming, and socializing.

Return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, resting, swimming, or enjoying the serene surroundings.

In the evening, unwind and watch the sunset over Lake Tanganyika from your lodge.

Main Destination: Gombe National Park

Start your day with breakfast at 7:00 AM before heading to the park headquarters for registration. A professional guide will accompany you on your final chimpanzee trek. Be prepared for a moderately strenuous hike through steep terrain hiking gear is recommended.

During the trek, your guide will share stories of the famed chimpanzee community studied by Jane Goodall since 1960. You may also spot other primates, birds, and unique plant life. The trek typically lasts 4hours, with a 100% chance of seeing chimpanzees.

Return to your lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride back to Kigoma, arriving in time to relax and enjoy the facilities at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel.

Main Destination: Gombe to Kigoma

Wake up to beautiful lake views and enjoy an early breakfast at 6:00 AM. Afterward, your driver will transfer you to Kigoma Airport for your 8:30 AM flight to Dar es Salaam, arriving at 10:40 AM.

Upon arrival, connect with your onward flight to Zanzibar. A representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel, marking the end of this unforgettable adventure.
