Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and begin your journey into the heart of Tanzania. A scenic drive will take you to Tarangire National Park, famed for its ancient baobab trees and dense elephant population. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a relaxing afternoon, soaking in the surrounding wilderness.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Look out for elephants, lions, zebras, and more across the park’s diverse landscapes. In the afternoon, depart for the lush highlands of Karatu, located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. After lunch inside the crater, continue your journey into the vast plains of the Serengeti.

Spend a full day exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park. Witness the majestic “Big Five” and the spectacular scenery of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserve. Depending on the season, you may even encounter the Great Migration.

After breakfast, transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, check in to your comfortable city hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in Tanzania’s bustling coastal capital.

Today you will have a flight departing from Dar Es Salaam airport (Terminal 2 ) at 05:40 AM flight to Kigoma. Pick up from your hotel is at 0400am 7:40 AM , You’ll arrive in Kigoma, meet our driver, and transfer to Hilltop Hotel for breakfast at 9:00 AM ,You’ll depart by boat (1-hour ride) to Gombe National Park. Upon arrival, check in and relax at your lodge.

In the afternoon  you’ll enjoy lunch and leisure time swimming at the beach or unwind, 3:00 PM You’ll depart for a 30-minute waterfall hike, spotting primates along the way. You’ll swim in the waterfall before returning to your lodge. Optional: If you return early, you’ll enjoy kayaking and a beautiful sunset on the water. 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Dinner will be served, followed by night relaxation.

Main Destination: Gombe National Park (Chimps)

After breakfast, you will meet your professional guide and set out for another exciting hike in Gombe Stream National Park. The day’s trekking time will depend on the movement and location of the chimpanzees, as they often travel deep into the forest in search of food. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the flora, birdlife, and other primates that inhabit this lush tropical forest, adding depth to your adventure.

Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will spend time observing their fascinating behavior watching them play, groom each other, and interact within their family groups. This is a truly rewarding experience, offering a rare glimpse into the lives of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom.

After the trek, you will descend back to your lodge in time for a well-deserved lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, giving you the chance to rest, reflect on the morning’s adventure, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

In the evening, you can unwind and watch the sun set over the waters of Lake Tanganyika from the comfort of your lodge, creating a perfect ending to your day in Gombe.

Main Destination: Gombe National Park (Chimps)

You’ll enjoy breakfast at your lodge before heading to the park headquarters for registration. You will be assigned a guide who will accompany you during the chimpanzee trekking experience. As you walk through the dense forest, be prepared for some steep slopes hiking gear is recommended. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the famous chimpanzee community that Jane Goodall studied since 1960. In addition to chimpanzees, you may also encounter other primates, birds, insects, and unique plant species. The hike can take 4 to 6 hours, with a 100% chance of spotting them. The park is characterized by steep ridges and valleys, making for an adventurous and rewarding experience and we recommend having hiking gears. Afternoon – After descending, return to your lodge for a short rest before enjoying a delicious lunch. You will have a boat ride back to Kigoma town. Upon your arrival you will enjoy the lodge facilities before dinner time at 0700am.

Wake up to a stunning view of Lake Tanganyika and enjoy breakfast at 6:00am. Afterward, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kigoma Airport for your 8:30am flight to Dar es Salaam and arrive at 10:40am.
