Chimp and Gorilla

Rwanda, Uganda, and Congo have lots of monkeys and apes in their mountains and jungles. Many people from around the world come here to see these animals up close. Akondo Safaris has different options for adventurous people who want to explore these African forests and slopes. Some trips include going to Nyungwe Forest, where many Angolan Colobus monkeys live. You can also see the rare Golden Monkey in Ruhengeri. If you visit Rwanda, Uganda, or Congo, you should definitely try Gorilla Tracking. Honeymoon Safari with Akondo Adventures 3 days, 3 national parks the Big 5 nailed several times over. From start to finish, Boris took care of administration, flights, accommodation and transfers, really smooth and always checking in to make sure everything was going well, Outstanding customer service / we were met by Richard our Safari Guide at the airport and soon at our first park Tarangire NP everything was explained in great detail with no questions left unanswered, Richard’s knowledge of the parks, their ecosystem and wildlife was fantastic. Then a short trip to Escarpment Lodge, a recommendation of Boris and one that did not disappoint, 5 Star treatment for the two nights we stayed. Then onto Ngorongoro for a magical trip up and into the crater, I’ve been on safari in Kenya, Jungles of South America but nothing comes close, your head was on a swivel from start to finish, I lost count of Wildebeest, Zebra, Lions, Hippos….. the list goes on and on. Something the world should treasure.. Richard was patient and explained what we could see unfolding infront of our eyes in great detail. Day Three was Lake Manyara and while we had been told by other travellers it wasn’t up to much, we had a thrilling time seeing in excess of 200 baboons and several species of monkey, large groups of Elephant next to the safari trucks, and to complete the Big Five a very rare sighting of a Leopard, who went from lazing on a tree branch to leaping down into the long grass. Then more Elephants in the roads blocking our path. Just fantastic. There are lots of tour operators to choose from and I’m picky as hell when it comes to these things, Boris and Richard were different class. I cannot recommend them enough.. Asante Sana. Fantastic 3 day's Safari, with the best Guide! This was our first safari and it was an indescribable experience! The organization through Boris (Akondo Adventures) was really great! He provided us with the best guide with over 20 years of safari experience. Boris looked after us the whole time via Whatsapp and calmly answered all our questions. And believe us, we had many :-D The organization went smoothly and although we had mixed up our departure date, Boris was persistent so that we noticed it the evening before and were able to start our safari. We were picked up at our hotel by our own driver and taken to the airport on time. When we arrived in the Serengeti, our guide was already waiting for us. At first I was a little sad that we didn't have an open safari car, but I soon realized why and was glad that it was a closed car. Lots of dust! As our guide had so much experience, he knew exactly where to find all the animals and so we were lucky enough to see the big five. He was able to tell us a lot about the animals and their habits and you could tell that he had a lot of experience. Our safari lasted three days and our guide took us directly to our accommodation and picked us up again in the morning. As there were only my boyfriend and me in the car and of course our Guide, we were able to stop whenever we wanted and look at the animals in peace and quiet. It was wonderful. Our accommodation had packed lunch for us, so we were well provided for. Our guide always had cold drinks in a cool box in the car. When our trip was unfortunately over, Boris introduced himself to us personally and had a small gift for us. Very thoughtful and nice to see who we had been in contact with the whole time. Only the departure was a little difficult as our flights were postponed several times. I think you have to expect that when you travel in Africa. However, Boris did everything he could to make it as pleasant as possible. We would definitely recommend the safari!

We loved our safari with Akondo Adventures Boris arranged for our 3 day safari at Nyerere National Park. He planned a boat safari, a game drive, a bush walk and a Masai village visit and arranged transportation, hotels and meals from Dar es Salaam. We had English speaking guides throughout the trip and he even arranged a private fireside dinner for us on the second night. We highly recommend Akondo Adventures.

Best Serengeti and Ngorongoro Experience We booked our very first safari for our first trip to Africa. It was a 2 day luxury private safari from Zanzibar to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with Akondo Adventures. We had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our booking agent, Boris, was very pleasant and responsive. He responded to all my inquiries within minutes, sometimes seconds. He went above and beyond to make this the most enjoyable, unforgettable tour. The game drive was amazing. Our driver Simon was very knowledgeable. We were able to see the animals we were looking forward to seeing in their natural habitat. We even spotted the very rare rhino and leopard, which we were not expecting to see at all. Overall, this was just a breathtaking experience. We will definitely book our next safari with Akondo Adventures.

Life time trip I have to count our last trip to Tanzania with Akondo Adventures as the most memorable and romantic trip ever. We had an amazing guide – Aman who gave us the best guiding service to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National Parks. He was very nice, courteous and flexible, always keen to give us what we wanted. He would know where to find the animals, and when we did, he would raise the top and patiently wait for us to get the best out of the encounter. His narrations and answers to our questions were interesting, detailed and funny at times. He spoke very good English and we loved listening to him. He was quite insightful and would allow our special quiet moments when we needed them. The lodgings were top class and had excellent service for us. I will gladly return for another trip with Akondo Adventures soon

Amazing 4 days Safari Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater Wow, where do I begin? First of all, our guide Aman was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, helpful and overall great people. If you are thinking about great Safari, please request Aman. You will not be disappointed! The tour company went out of their way multiple times. We had delicious meals at the Lodges!. I couldn't recommend this tour enough!
