Deep in the Selous Game Reserve and with the banks of the Rufiji River all to itself, Sand Rivers Safari Camp Nyerere is one of the most luxurious lodges anywhere in the reserve. Huge rooms (some are by the river, others have plunge pools and sit on the hillside) all have views, and you can sometimes see elephants around the property. The meals are gourmet standard and the service is top-class.
